What’s in PowerFactors?

5 g per full scoop
Creatine Monohydrate
Power Muscle Strength, Energy & Performance
Creatine helps your muscles rapidly regenerate ATP, the immediate energy they use to move, contract and perform.†
In a meta-analysis of 22 randomized studies involving 721 older men and women, creatine combined with resistance training produced greater gains in lean muscle mass and upper- and lower-body strength than resistance training alone.1
Creatine helps support:†
- Muscle strength
- Lean muscle with exercise
- Exercise performance
- Muscle energy
Power Brain Function
Creatine also helps supply energy to the brain.†
A 2024 meta-analysis of randomized human trials found significant benefits for memory, attention time and information-processing speed.2
Another analysis of healthy adults found improved memory, with particularly strong benefits among adults ages 66–76.3
Creatine helps support:†
- Memory
- Brain energy
- Mental performance

250 mg per full scoop
NMN
Support NAD+, Cellular Energy & Healthy Aging
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a building block your body uses to make NAD+, a coenzyme essential for converting nutrients into cellular energy.
In a randomized, double-blind human study, 250 mg of NMN daily increased blood NAD+ and helped maintain walking speed in older adults.4
A separate University of Tsukuba randomized, double-blind study using 250 mg of NMN daily for 12 weeks found the largest improvements in measures of lower-body physical performance and drowsiness in older adults who took NMN in the afternoon, though the placebo groups also improved.5
NMN helps support:†
- NAD+ production
- Cellular energy metabolism
- Physical vitality
- Healthy aging

100 mg magnesium per full scoop
Magnesium Glycinate
For Muscles, Nerves & Energy
Magnesium is essential to the way your body produces and uses energy.†
The National Institutes of Health reports that magnesium acts as a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems involved in energy production, protein synthesis, muscle contraction and normal nerve function.6
PowerFactors uses magnesium glycinate, which combines magnesium with the amino acid glycine and is commonly chosen for good gastrointestinal tolerance.
Magnesium helps support:†
- Normal muscle function
- Normal nerve function
- Energy production
- Protein synthesis
- Muscle contraction and relaxation
Collagen Peptides
PowerFactors also includes a small amount of collagen peptides. It is not meant to be a major source of collagen or protein.
Three Nutrients. Three Ways to Support Your Energy.
- CreatineHelps rapidly replenish ATP for muscles and the brain.
- NMNHelps your body make NAD+, essential for cellular energy metabolism.
- MagnesiumSupports the enzymes involved in producing and using energy.
Together, they provide nutritional support for muscle strength, brain performance, cellular energy and healthy aging.†

Even If You Don’t Go to the Gym
PowerFactors is not only for muscular athletes. Even seniors can benefit from this formula. It’s all about helping to fuel power and youthful energy, with no caffeine or stimulants.†
Everyday life requires muscles and energy: getting out of a chair, carrying groceries, walking through an airport, climbing stairs, gardening, traveling or staying active enough to enjoy the life you love. Just staying alert and focused depends on energy being supplied to the brain.
Feel Stronger. Live Better.
PowerFactors supports strength, cellular energy and mental performance so you can feel stronger and stay active.†

What the research shows at these amounts
Here is what published human studies have found for each ingredient at or near the amount in one scoop, and what they have not found. Where a study used a different amount, we say so. These are studies of the single ingredients, not of PowerFactors itself.
Creatine monohydrate, 5 g
Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements there is. Research uses 3 to 5 grams a day to fill and keep up the creatine stores in muscle, which takes about three to four weeks of daily use. The International Society of Sports Nutrition reviewed the safety research and found it well tolerated in healthy people.
In adults over 50 who did resistance training, two analyses that pooled the trials found more gains in strength and lean muscle with creatine than with training alone.
Your brain uses creatine too. A 2023 analysis that pooled eight trials found a small overall benefit to memory, larger in adults aged 66 to 76, though the trials differed a lot. In a six-week trial of 123 adults taking 5 grams a day, the effect on thinking tests was small and fell short of statistical significance.
What it does not show: Most of the strength research pairs creatine with regular resistance exercise. The brain research is early and the effects so far are modest.
- Kreider et al., Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (2017). Position stand on creatine: 3 to 5 g a day maintains muscle stores; safe and well tolerated in healthy people in short and long-term use.
- Chilibeck et al., Open Access Journal of Sports Medicine (2017). Meta-analysis of 22 trials, 721 adults with average ages of 57 to 70 doing resistance training: creatine added about 1.4 kg of lean mass and more chest and leg press strength than training alone.
- Devries and Phillips, Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise (2014). Meta-analysis of 357 older adults (average age about 64) over about 12 weeks of training: creatine improved chest press, leg press and the chair-stand test; several other strength measures did not differ.
- Prokopidis et al., Nutrition Reviews (2023). Meta-analysis of 8 trials in healthy people: a small overall benefit to memory, larger in adults aged 66 to 76; results varied widely between trials.
- Sandkühler et al., BMC Medicine (2023). 123 adults, 5 g a day for six weeks against placebo: a small effect on a memory test that did not reach statistical significance, and none on a reasoning test.
NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide), 250 mg
Your cells use NMN to make NAD+, a molecule involved in turning food into energy. NAD+ levels tend to fall as we get older.
In a 12-week placebo-controlled trial of 30 healthy adults, 250 mg of NMN a day raised NAD+ in the blood, and no adverse effects were seen in the 15 people taking it. In a trial of men aged 65 and over (42 enrolled; a supplement mix-up left 20 in the 12-week analysis), the same amount also raised blood NAD+; walking speed and left-hand grip strength improved slightly, muscle mass did not change, and the authors said larger studies are needed.
In September 2025 the FDA concluded that NMN is not excluded from the definition of a dietary supplement. That removed the drug-exclusion barrier. It is not an FDA approval: the FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness, and makers remain responsible for both.
What it does not show: Raising NAD+ in the blood is well documented. What that means for how you feel or function day to day has not been shown in large trials. A 24-week trial published in September 2026 gave adults aged 65 and over five times this amount (1,250 mg a day): blood NAD+ rose, but hearing and physical performance did not improve.
- Okabe et al., Frontiers in Nutrition (2022). 30 healthy adults, 250 mg a day or placebo for 12 weeks: whole-blood NAD+ rose with NMN; no adverse effects or abnormal lab results were seen in the 15 taking NMN.
- Igarashi et al., npj Aging (2022). 42 healthy men aged 65 and over enrolled (20 in the 12-week analysis after a supplement allocation error), 250 mg a day or placebo: blood NAD+ rose; small gains in gait speed and left grip, no change in body composition. Exploratory results the authors say need larger studies.
- Igarashi et al., npj Aging (2026). Adults aged 65 and over, 1,250 mg a day or placebo for 24 weeks: NAD+ and related compounds rose; no significant improvement in hearing (the main measure) or physical performance.
- U.S. FDA response to citizen petition FDA-2023-P-0872 (September 29, 2025). FDA concluded that NMN is not excluded from the dietary supplement definition, because it was sold as a supplement before it was studied as a drug.
Magnesium (as magnesium bisglycinate), 100 mg
Magnesium supports normal muscle and nerve function and the body's energy production. Adults need 310 to 420 mg a day, and about half of Americans get less than they should from food.
100 mg is a top-up: about a quarter of the daily value, and well under the 350 mg a day the NIH sets as the upper limit for magnesium from supplements.
What it does not show: 100 mg is about a quarter of a day's need, so food is still the main source.
- NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, Magnesium fact sheet for health professionals. Recommended intakes (310 to 420 mg for adults), the 350 mg upper limit for supplemental magnesium, the finding that 48% of Americans take in less than the average requirement from food, and interactions with some antibiotics and bisphosphonates.
Collagen peptides, 100 mg
Collagen peptides are listed on the label at 100 mg, a small amount, not a major source of collagen or protein. Most collagen studies used 2.5 to 10 grams a day, so their results do not apply to an amount this small.
- Pu et al., Nutrients (2023). Review of 26 collagen trials: most used 2.5 to 10 g a day; the lowest amount in any trial was about 0.4 g.
The combination
No clinical trial has tested PowerFactors or this exact combination. What it offers is convenience: creatine, NMN and magnesium in one scoop instead of three separate products.
What a scoop costs
A jar holds 25 scoops. On Subscribe & Save it is $62.10 a jar, about $2.48 a scoop, with free shipping, delivered every 4 weeks. Bought once, a jar is $69.00, about $2.76 a scoop, plus $6.95 shipping unless the order has 3 or more items.

Frequently asked.
Adults who want to stay strong, sharp and active as they get older. It is not only for athletes: even if you don't go to the gym, everyday life takes muscle and energy, from getting out of a chair to carrying groceries. The creatine research on strength is strongest alongside resistance exercise. It is for adults only, not for children.
The creatine is the same thing: 5 grams of creatine monohydrate, the form used in most research. PowerFactors adds 250 mg of NMN and 100 mg of magnesium to the same scoop. If creatine is all you want, plain creatine monohydrate costs less.
Work your way up. Begin with 1/4 scoop a day mixed into juice, a protein shake or your favorite drink. After a few days increase to 1/2 scoop and, if well tolerated, take 1 full scoop daily. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
A jar holds 25 full-scoop servings, so about 25 days at a full scoop a day, and about 50 days at half a scoop. On Subscribe & Save a new jar ships every 4 weeks. You can change that to every 3 weeks or every month, pause, or cancel in your account at any time.
Yes. If you also drink MDR VitalFactors, use PowerFactors on alternate days.

5 grams of creatine monohydrate, 250 mg of NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide), 100 mg of magnesium from magnesium bisglycinate, and 100 mg of collagen peptides. No calories and no sugar. The full panel is on this page, exactly as printed on the jar.
It can. Creatine can raise creatinine, a number doctors use on kidney function tests, without your kidneys working any differently. Tell your doctor you take creatine before any blood work. Do not use PowerFactors if you have impaired kidney function unless your treating physician specifically approves it.
In trials, the side effects reported with creatine are mostly mild, such as stomach upset, and it can add a little body weight in the first weeks, mostly water held in muscle. Starting with 1/4 scoop and working up helps. The NMN trials so far have lasted up to 24 weeks, so there is no long-term data beyond that. Stop using it and talk to your healthcare professional if stomach upset or any other reaction occurs.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you take any prescription medicine. Magnesium can interfere with some antibiotics (tetracyclines and quinolones) and with bisphosphonates, the bone medicines. The NIH advises taking those antibiotics at least 2 hours before or 4 to 6 hours after magnesium, and bisphosphonates at least 2 hours apart from it.
Consult your physician before using PowerFactors if you are pregnant or nursing. NMN has not been studied in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Ask your oncologist before taking PowerFactors. NMN has not been studied in people having cancer treatment.
In September 2025 the FDA concluded that NMN is not excluded from the definition of a dietary supplement, because it was sold as a supplement before it was studied as a drug. That is not an FDA approval: the FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness.
No. Collagen peptides come from animal sources.
